Start with our template

Displays, tents, flags and banner stands have exact graphic sizes, hidden areas and safe zones. Our templates have all of that built in. Put your design on the template layer, hide or delete the guide layer, and export.

File formats we accept

• Print-ready PDF (preferred), one page per graphic
• Adobe Illustrator (AI) or EPS with fonts outlined and images embedded
• Photoshop (PSD, TIF) flattened, or high-quality JPG for photo-based designs
• Several files? Put them in one ZIP

Resolution

Large-format graphics are seen from a few feet away, so they don’t need magazine resolution. Aim for 150 dpi at full print size. Logos and text should be vector so they stay sharp at any size.

Bleed and safe area

• Bleed: extend background color and images past the trim edge. Most products need 0.5 in on every side; fabric and tension displays follow the template.
• Safe area: keep logos, text and faces at least 1 to 2 in inside the edge, more on curved or wrapped graphics.
• Hidden areas: the bottom of banner stands and the sides of tension fabric are hidden by hardware. The template shows where.

Color

• Build artwork in CMYK. RGB files are converted, and some bright screen colors will shift.
• Brand colors: tell us the Pantone number and we match it as closely as the material allows.
• Critical color on fabric? Ask for a printed strike-off before the full run.

Fonts and text

• Convert all text to outlines, or include the font files.
• Keep text large enough to read from the aisle: headline letters at least 3 in tall on a back wall.
• Double-check phone numbers, websites and booth numbers. They are the most common typos.

Double-sided and multi-piece graphics

Send the front and back as separate pages, and name files so we know which piece goes where (for example, BackWall_Left.pdf).

How our proof works

Every order gets a free file check. We look at size, resolution, bleed, color and fonts, then send a digital proof. Nothing is printed until you approve it. If something needs fixing, our prepress team can fix it or tell you exactly what to change.

Export a print-ready PDF

• Illustrator: File, Save As, Adobe PDF, preset High Quality Print, turn on "Use Document Bleed Settings".
• InDesign: File, Export, Adobe PDF (Print), High Quality Print, Marks and Bleeds tab, "Use Document Bleed Settings".
• Photoshop: flatten, set the canvas to the full size including bleed, then File, Save a Copy, Photoshop PDF.
• Canva: Share, Download, PDF Print, and check "Crop marks and bleed".
